
There was a time when I thought life would never let me breathe. One challenge after another. One heartbreak after another. Just when I thought I had endured the worst, something else would come crashing down.
I’ve been the woman who had to pick up the pieces of a shattered heart, a grieving soul, and an exhausted body. I’ve been the mother who had to smile for my children while feeling completely lost inside. I’ve been the wife who fought for her marriage but ultimately chose to walk away for the sake of her own mental health. I’ve been the daughter who whispered desperate prayers in the silence, wondering if God had forgotten about me. And yet—I’m still standing.
The Story That Led Me Here
I never imagined I’d be telling my story like this. But maybe that’s why you’re here—because you, too, have felt the weight of life’s hardships.
I was a young mother navigating a traumatic loss—losing my first daughter before I could even hold her long enough. I tried to move forward, to rebuild, to find purpose in the pain. Then life threw another curveball: my youngest daughter needed a life-saving organ transplant at just a few months old. The days were long, the hospital walls became my second home, and I was torn between caring for her and being present for my other daughter, who still needed her mom.
As if that weren’t enough, I was balancing the weight of a failing marriage—one that ended in divorce and left me standing alone, trying to figure out how to rebuild. I had to walk through financial struggles, self-doubt, and the deep exhaustion of trying to be everything to everyone while feeling like I had nothing left to give.
But in the darkness, something changed. I refused to be broken. I refused to let my pain define me. Instead, I let it transform me.
What This Blog is About
Balancing Acts & Breakthroughs was born from my deepest struggles and greatest revelations. It’s about finding the courage to keep going when everything feels like it’s falling apart. It’s about learning that balance isn’t about perfection—it’s about knowing when to hold on, when to let go, and when to rebuild.
